Step 1: Choose your Steak
• Choose a thick steak, slightly marbled, ask your butcher to portion a fresh thick piece if you can.
Step 2: Cook your perfect steak
• Heat in a pan some corn oil
• Season your meat with table salt and pepper
• Add your steak in the hot pan for 6 minutes (medium-rare) or more to your preference
• turn it every minute
Step 3: Give Flavor to your steak
• Halve a garlic clove and rub it over the steak every time you turn it
• Brush Rosemary or Thyme over the steak every minute
• Finish the steak with a knob of butter
Step 4: Give rest to your steak
• Once cooked to your liking, take it out of the pan
• Pour garlic butter over steak
• let the steak rest 2 to 5 minutes
• serve with cooked garlic and rosemary
